Research Projects

Research includes studies of filter feeding, cladocera, rotifers, myxotrophic flagellates, planktonic food webs and microbial communities in lakes and reservoirs, the Okefenokee Swamp, Everglades and coral reefs in the Florida Keys Reef Tract. Current projects include an ecological inventory of Tallassee Forest and other conservation areas in Athens-Clarke County, service on the Oconee Rivers Greenway Commission and the Oconee River Land Trust board.
