- Microbial ecology, tropical marine ecology, air quality
Research Projects
Research includes studies of filter feeding, cladocera, rotifers, myxotrophic flagellates, planktonic food webs and microbial communities in lakes and reservoirs, the Okefenokee Swamp, Everglades and coral reefs in the Florida Keys Reef Tract. Current projects include conservation of Florida and Caribbean reefs and air quality issues.
