Faculty
Directory Courtesy Faculty are defined as faculty who are permanent University of Georgia employees. Courtesy Faculty members will be chosen from those tenure-track faculty in other schools and departments of the University of Georgia who have expressed an interest in participating in our programs. Courtesy faculty appointments in the Odum School of Ecology will be at the same rank as the rank already held by the individuals in their home units. For example, an associate professor can be appointed as a courtesy associate professor, not as a courtesy professor. Courtesy faculty members are reappointed every three years.
