Calley Mersmann, BS ’11, is the Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator for the City of Cleveland, OH. In this role, she informs bicycle and pedestrian elements of infrastructure projects, assists with community education and outreach, and guides local initiatives such as Vision Zero and the shared mobility program. Prior to this role, Calley served as the Safe Routes to School coordinator for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, helping students walk and bike to school safely. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from the University of Georgia. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and riding her bicycle.
