Research Interests

I have broad interests related to reptile, amphibian, and overall wildlife conservation. Specifically, my research focuses on understanding diamondback terrapin (M. terrapin) spatial ecology in order to inform future conservation efforts to reduce human-induced mortality. I am also a firm believer that public outreach and education related to research projects can help inform human populations and create positive change in the world of conservation.

Research Projects

  • Habitat use, home range, and site selection of diamondback terrapins (Malaclemys terrapin) in southeast Georgia (Jekyll Island).
